The first national Speed Badminton tournament, Meilahti Open, ever in Finland was held in Meilahti Sports Center on Sep 26. The tournament was won by Timo Sipi without losing a set and Timo Sipi defeated Gabor Lovro in the final 2-0. Stefan Backman won the bronze match over Tom Vapaavuori by 2-0.
